- **Event Description**: Open Umbrella is a new group established in 2023 which aims to support cancer patients on the Isle of Wight, and also their families, as they prepare for, and go through, cancer treatment. We also offer ongoing support following treatment. We meet for informal coffee on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at the Riverside Centre in Newport, Isle of Wight from 10:30-12:00. In addition, we also organise informal social activities regularly, usually to take place at the weekends, to enable patients and their families to connect and be mutually supportive and to encourage a return to physical fitness and to encourage positive mental health and wellbeing.
