6-Week Beginners Pottery Class Series

Discover the joy of working with clay in this immersive, hands-on pottery series held at Landis House. Designed for beginners/novices ages 16 and up, this six-week class introduces you to the fundamentals of pottery with one-on-one instruction from artist and educator Tom Oakes. You’ll explore pottery history, learn to throw on the wheel, practice trimming and refining your work, and finish your pieces with decorating and glazing techniques.

Classes are held on Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m.

Project Pick-Up: March 4 (Snow date: March 11)
(If needed, make up days due to inclement weather will be scheduled by the instructor on Tuesday or Thursday evenings).

Class Price: $160 - All supplies and materials included!
