Enjoy an afternoon of food, fun, and fellowship!

BBQ Cook Off Competition

People’s Choice Tasting – Purchase Sample tickets for BBQ from our contestants and vote for your favorite!

BBQ Plates for donation – Grab a full plate of delicious pulled pork!

Silent Auction with great items from local businesses and community members.

All funds raised will directly support Kyleigh and her future.

?‍? Cook Off Rules for Contestants

Each contestant MUST REGISTER for entry in advance using the tickets link. Entry is FREE.

Each contestant must provide a minimum of 5 lbs of finished pulled pork.

Cooking will be done off-site and delivered to Shortway Brewing Co. ready for competition and plating.

Plating materials, sample cups, and cutlery will be provided.

Contestants will prepare one portion for judging, plated on-site.

Contestants will split their remaining BBQ in half:

One half for People’s Choice sampling.

One half to prepare BBQ plates for attendees.

All entries must be ready for judging by 12:30 PM.

Final product may be sauced, but only meat will be provided to judges (no sauce on the side).

All entries will be judged blindly on a 100-point scale, as follows:

Appearance / Aroma: 20 points

Taste: 30 points

Moisture: 20 points

Tenderness / Texture: 20 points

Overall Impression: 10 points
