There’s something about walls. We build them to feel safe. We build them to keep others out. And sometimes, we build them without even realizing it—walls of pride, fear, judgment, pain, or misunderstanding. But long before we ever stacked the first stone of separation, God was already working on a plan to tear them down.
From the very beginning, God’s heart has always been unity. Not uniformity—but unity. Unity in diversity. Unity in love. Unity under the leadership of His Son, Jesus Christ. Ephesians 1:10 says that God’s purpose is “to bring unity to all things in heaven an earth under Christ.”
Jesus didn’t come to earth waving a sword of division. He came waving the banner of love. And on the cross, He didn’t just bridge the gap between God and humanity—He broke down every wall that stands between us and each other.
Today, let’s ask ourselves: What walls need to fall in our own hearts? What barriers are we still hiding behind? More importantly—who is waiting on the other side of those walls, hoping someone will walk through and say, “You matter. You belong. God has not forgotten you.”
Let the Church rise—not to divide, but to unite. Let us be wall-breakers in a wall-building world. Because when we love like Jesus, the walls fall, and the Kingdom comes.
