From Stage to Screen: Performance, Choreography and Career Longevity

Broadway veterans Deon Ridley and Angela Brown offer a dynamic masterclass titled “From Stage to Screen: Performance, Choreography, and Career Longevity,” designed for emerging performers, students, and educators seeking professional insight. Drawing from their extensive credits, including The Lion King, Mamma Mia!, Wicked, Chicago, and collaborations with icons such as Michael Jackson, Celine Dion, and Ariana Grande, the workshop combines performance technique, choreography, directing, and industry navigation. Participants engage in vocal and movement training, learn signature choreography, explore directing and teaching strategies, and gain behind-the-scenes knowledge of touring, television, and film work. With sessions on creative entrepreneurship, faith-driven mentorship, and community impact, the masterclass culminates in a collaborative performance and reflection, empowering the next generation of artists with tools for sustainable, purpose-filled careers.
