Auditions for this production are NOT being held at PCT, but just around the corner from the theatre at the Women's Club of Hilton Village, 87 Main St., Newport News.  You can still park behind the theatre or on the street and it is just around the corner on Main St.  It is walking distance from the theatre. (Less than two minutes walking distance from the theatre.)

When you list conflicts please know that due to the nature of the show and the fact that every cast member is in almost every scene, the less conflicts the better for casting however, some conflicts are understandable.

Please come dressed comfortably. There will be readings from the script provided. 

You only need to attend one night of auditions.

Cast of Characters: (Ages 16-Any)

WAYNE HOPKINS – New wizard from Arizona whose parents died, like another more famous wizard we all know.

OLIVER RIVERS – Becomes one of Wayne’s best friends and was a straight 'A’ student before becoming a wizard.  Slightly nerdy and he is a kind of wizard - a math wizard. 

MEGAN JONES - Becomes another friend of Wayne’s and Oliver’s, similar to another trio we may all know, except she has a darker past due to her mom and she carries herself in a Goth-esq appearance with the attitude of a loaner. 

NARRATOR – Pretty self-explanatory.

ERNIE MAC (Proud and self-absorbed) and A VERY TALL MAN, SEAMUS, A CERTAIN POTIONS TEACHER, PROFESSOR TURBAN, GHOST HISTORY TEACHER, PROFESSOR LOCKY, MR. NICK, SAL, SECOND HEADMASTER, REAL MR. MOODY.  

HANNAH (Earthy) and FIRST HEADMASTER, PROFESSOR McG, PROFESSOR SPROUTTY, XAVIA JONES, PROFESSOR LANNY, RUNES TEACHER, MS. BABBLE.

J. FINCH FLETCHLEY (Nerdy, always stuck at the bad end of the magic, Urkel-esq)  and UNCLE DAVE, GOYE, A FAT FRIAR, CLUMSY LONGBOTTOM, HERMEOONE #3, VIKTOR, MR BAGMAN, ZACH SMITH.

LEANNE (Just happy to be here and always surprised she is a wizard) and GINNY, HELGA, FRENCHY.

SALLY PERKS (a chameleon, prominent when not Sally but blends into the scenery otherwise)  and HERMEOONE, BLONDO MALFOY, ROWENA, RITA SCOOTER, BIPPY.

SUSIE BONES (Tries to fit in but doesn’t) and HARRY, COLIN, HERMEOONE #2, RIC GRYFF, MYRTLE

CEDRIC (The charming one everyone looks up to, upper classman, they all desire to be like him) and MR. VOLDY
