Ash Ford is a singer, songwriter, and vocal arranger whose sound blends soulful storytelling with modern edge. Originally from Alabama and now based in Boston, Ash brings Southern roots and city influence together to create music that feels both intimate and expansive. With a strong focus on vocal layering and emotion-driven songwriting, her work explores themes of faith, healing, and growth.Ned Harris began singing at the age of 5, joined his church choir at the age of 11, and began performing with his community theater before he was old enough to vote or drink legally. Influenced by the Motown music that his parents kept in rotation during car rides around Albany, Ned fell in love with the era, and is still influenced by the Motown sound to this day. As a former member of Kustom Made and the 1960s quartet group, The Unifics, Ned prides himself in sticking to the foundation of what the forefathers of R&B and Soul music have built over the years. With every track that he puts his name on, Ned makes a conscious effort to create quality music that is inspired by greats like Prince, Smokey Robinson, Michael Jackson, Sam Cooke and Marvin Gaye.https://youtu.be/DDivEsDQwx0?si=EkzfbTFXRiLh_D5V - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/newport-news/18th-anniversary-concert-featuring-ash-ford-and-ned-harris/100002001247906360 - **Event Categories**: music, entertainment, concerts, performances, art, theatre, storytelling - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 0 - **Event Highlights**: - Age Limit: All Ages - Doors Open At: 6:30 PM - Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes - Location: Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center - Languages: English ## Ticket Details - **Ticket Price Range**: min: 28.52, max: 28.52, currency: USD ## Event venue details - **city**: Newport News - **state**: VA - **country**: United States - **location**: Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center - **lat**: 36.984451 - **long**: -76.412503 - **full address**: Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center, 2410 Wickham Avenue, Newport News, United States ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: 18th Anniversary Concert featuring Ash Ford and Ned Harris - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events8/banners/3992687d1a27be494154ff6d2031b9633830162151a8f0f3658d8aa7c4c4c14b-rimg-w851-h315-dc280808-gmir.jpg?v=1789588985 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is 18th Anniversary Concert featuring Ash Ford and Ned Harris being held? - **A:** 18th Anniversary Concert featuring Ash Ford and Ned Harris takes place on Sat, 10 Oct, 2026 at 07:00 pm to Sat, 10 Oct, 2026 at 09:30 pm at Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center, 2410 Wickham Avenue, Newport News, United States. - **Q**: Who is organizing 18th Anniversary Concert featuring Ash Ford and Ned Harris? - **A:** 18th Anniversary Concert featuring Ash Ford and Ned Harris is organized by Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center. - **Q**: Who is this event for?
