We are so excited to host our "FRIENDSGIVING FUNDRAISER for Lea Ann" on Sunday, November 16, 2025 from 3:00-6:00 pm at The Venue at Murphy Lane. We are hoping for a very successful fundraiser to help support Lea Ann as she battles cancer.
Lea Ann Hurd, the owner of Southern Flair Weddings and Events, has been our exclusive wedding planner at Murphy Lane for the past 5 years. We love her and appreciate her expertise in the wedding world. She has been fighting a cancer battle since July 2025 when she was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon and liver cancer. If you know Lea Ann, you know that she doesn't do anything halfway. She has been proactive, incredibly positive and fully faithful to our Creator in Heaven as she navigates her cancer journey. She is so thankful and feels so blessed to have the doctors and nurses at the City of Hope on her team, as well as the continued support of her family and friends.
