Marking the transition from the darkest point of the year for return to light, it is a celebratory time for clearing old energies and continuing the theme of exploring The Kleshas (as covered in the Autumn Equinox retreat) to set intentions with clarity to nurture them towards growth in the Spring.
Where our attention goes, our energy flows and the Solstice offers a great opportunity to check that our actions are in alignment with our intentions as we move forward into light.
A deep, rich, thorough yoga practice is followed by a fire pit ceremony with warming spiced cacao, before being enveloped in healing sound to restore us to peace and ease.
Go deep with study or simply enjoy the experiential offering of the day of movement, stillness, sound and silence all set within the Branches park barns and courtyard - providing us the most amazing ‘container’ for this kind of deep work to be done in a safely held space – where the collective experience is amplified by the surroundings whilst offering plenty of room for anyone to have a breather and some space to ground if required.
It is simply the perfect location for finding your roots and centre !

BRIEF OUTLINE OF EVENTS (More details to follow)
Jacqui will lead a portion of study and reflection followed by a deep, sumptuous yoga flow, exploring aspects of shtira (steadiness) in particular waves of flow. The practice may be strong in places but please know that the use of props to modify the flow where necessary is encouraged. This assists in bringing the mind and body into an integrated place of stillness, to reveal what is needed for us to truly find balance within.
To round up our time together, Amanda will guide you into a seasonal yoga Nidra.
Once the body and mind is still, she will transport you with a gong bath, a transformational sound healing opportunity to truly calibrate body, mind and spirit.
