⚔️ Answer the Call: Join the Revolution… Rec Style!
Time for the adults to step onto the battlefield and check into the game. 

This fast-paced, intramural-style tournament rallies the community for active fun, friendly competition, and historic 250th celebratory spirit. Loyal spectators, family, and friends are highly encouraged to pack the sidelines and cheer on their favorite factions!

📅 The Campaign Details

Date & Time: Friday Night, September 18th, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

The Setting: Outdoors under the lanterns (lights) across the entire Newmarket Rec Field Complex.

👥 Regiment & Rules
The Limit: Only 16 adult co-ed regiments can enlist.
Roster Size: Militia Teams must consist of exactly 8 players.

Battle Format: Formations are 5v5 under a 20-minute master clock.

Gender Ratio: At least two players of each gender must be on the field/court at all times.

Diverse Combat: Each regiment faces a different opponent for each event, guaranteeing maximum variety.

🏆 The Revolutionary Skirmishes
Regiments will clash across four themed preliminary events, followed by two ultimate championship battles to claim victory:

1) Skirmish Dodge Ball
2) Minuteman Tactical Soccer
3) Capture the Flag - Flag Football
4) Victory Volleyball

Championship Battle: 
Wentworth Cheswill’s Relay Race

Championship Battle: 
The Boston Tea Party - 4 Way Tug of War

📜 Code of Conduct
This is a friendly, community-first competition. While the theme is revolutionary, hostile play and foul language will strictly not be tolerated on the field.

💰 Enlistment & Fees
Bounty: $160 per team.
Historic Impact: A portion of the proceeds directly funds the Wentworth Cheswill Memorial 

How to Enlist: Only one captain needs to register the team. Please list your 7 fellow troops in the space provided.

Next Steps: The registering captain will receive all email updates and the official Rules Playbook. Liability waivers must be signed by all participants.

Registration & Check In:  

Check in: Children must check in at the Patriot Desk located in front of the Preschool Playground between 4:15 PM - 4:45 PM 
Pay the Dandy Dash Fee:  "One George Washington Quarter" for every year’s age of the child competing. 

For example… If your child is 8 years old, they will need to bring 8 George Washington quarters that night in order to participate (we suppose we would also accept 2 George Washington Dollars as well, in this particular case) 👍

The Start:  The first Yankee Doodle Dash will start at 5:00 PM with the Announcement of the Town Cryer 

Rumble Parents Only - Child Care:  
Worry not, parents participating in the Revolutionary Rec Rumble!  Similar to last year, Newmarket Rec Staff will provide child care during the adult competition for kids in grades K–5th from 5:30- until Rumble is over for parents registered in the Rumble only. 

Rec Rumble Child care fee: $15 per child  - Registration for Child Care is separate from the Rumble

After the final battle cry whistle, teams are invited to continue the 250th celebration for the official Revolutionary Rec Rumble after battle party.
