Tickets: $25 or $30 at the door, children under 12 free

TASTER CLASS
Need a refresher on the basic steps? Then join our guest teachers Joel & Jodi for a taster class from 2:00-2:30PM. We will then continue with live music and social dancing until 5:00pm.


A BIT ABOUT THE BAND
The Second Wind Community Big Band is a not for profit group based in Brisbane’s Northside. Established in July 1998, it now has over 80 members from a wide demographic. The band provides live musical entertainment to a variety of events, and encourages members to develop their musical skills through rehearsals, weekend workshops, and performances.


OTHER STUFF
*Children are more than welcome at our Sunday Swing Sesh however for safety reasons, please ensure young ones are not on the dance floor or dancing safely somewhere near a parent/guardian.

*Due to the nature of live music and our favourite wooden flooring in dance halls, please consider bringing ear protection if noise is an issue for you. Although not amplified, 15-20 musicians all playing at the same time can create a high level of noise.

**Due to the costs associated with hiring a live band, and hall hire etc, there will not be concession or student ticket prices. If this cost is prohibitive to your attendance at the event please reach out to Monique at Swing Patrol for a confidential chat!**
