# Event Details

- **Event Name**: EGM (Extraordinary General Meeting)
- **Event Start and End Date**: Wed, 09 Sep, 2026 at 07:30 pm – Wed, 09 Sep, 2026 at 08:15 pm
- **Event Description**: As many of you will know, Moulton Pre-School is a registered charity that has proudly served our local community for many years. The Pre-School is run with the support of a volunteer committee, made up largely of parents and caregivers, who help oversee the management, organisation, and future of the setting.

To remain open and operate legally, the Pre-School must have a committee in place, including the three key roles of Chairperson, Treasurer, and Secretary. Alongside these positions, additional committee members act as trustees and provide valuable support in helping the Pre-School continue to thrive.

At our Annual General Meeting (AGM) three weeks ago, we had hoped to appoint a new committee to take over from the outgoing members. Unfortunately, we were unable to fill the required roles at that meeting, and we have not yet been able to appoint a new committee. We are therefore holding the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) to ensure these essential roles are filled and that Moulton Pe-School can continue to operate.
