Join professional Tarot card reader Linda Poland for a six-session Introduction to Tarot class. Together we’ll explore the Major Arcana, each of the four suits, and the Court cards, learning the foundational meanings, symbols, and patterns that bring the cards to life. Each session will include guided discussion, reflection, and hands-on practice with simple spreads so you can begin reading for yourself (and eventually others) with clarity and ease. 

Please bring your Tarot deck and a journal, as we will incorporate journaling exercises to help you connect personally with the cards and track your insights throughout the series. Whether you are brand new to Tarot or looking to strengthen your foundation, this class offers a supportive, welcoming space to learn and grow.

~MARCH 22nd: Session 1: The Major Arcana
In this session, we will explore the 22 Major Arcana cards. These archetypal cards tell the story of the Fool’s journey and reflect life’s big lessons, turning points, and spiritual growth. Bring a journal, your Tarot deck, and be ready to learn about and practice reading cards.

~APRIL 26th: Session 2: Wands – Passion & Purpose
In this session, we will explore the suit of Wands, which is connected to the element of fire and represents creativity, inspiration, and action.

~MAY 31st: Session 3: Cups – Emotions & Intuition
This session focuses on the suit of Cups. We’ll explore how the Cups cards reflect love,
connection, and our emotions.

~JUNE 28th: Session 4: Swords – Thoughts & Communication
This session focuses on the suit of Swords– the realm of the mind, communication, truth, and conflict.

~JULY 19th: Session 5: Pentacles – Work & Well-Being
This session focuses on the suit of Pentacles, which represent our career, finances, home, and physical health.

~AUGUST 23rd: Session 6: Court Cards – Personalities & Patterns
In our final session, we’ll demystify the Court Cards– Pages, Knights, Queens, and Kings and explore how they show up as energies within ourselves and others. You’ll leave feeling more confident interpreting these nuanced and powerful cards.


Bio:
Linda Poland is a retired educator with over 30 years of teaching experience. She is
the owner of Third Space Wellness in Old Wethersfield, where she works as a
professional Tarot card reader and Reiki Master. Linda loves combining her
background in education with her passion for Tarot, sharing it as a powerful tool for
reflection, insight, and self-discovery.
