WHAT: Finger Lakes Finns member meeting dish-to-pass. National Sauna Week! WHEN: Sunday, February 15th, 2026, at 1:00 pm. • Early arrivals welcome before 1:00 pm to help set up and socialize! All FLF members, their guests and others are invited. • We all love to meet new people. Bring a friend or family member who you think might enjoy our group. Maybe they will become a new member!? • Interested in Finnish and Nordic cultures? Members of the community at large are always welcome at our events. Just show up! PLEASE BRING: • A generous dish to share and a serving utensil if appropriate. It is helpful if you label your dish and include a list of ingredients. • FLF will provide coffee as usual. • Also, help us reduce waste by bringing your own place setting and coffee mug. • Some cash for the gourd donation barrels and for raffle tickets. APPROXIMATE AGENDA: • 12:30 Arrive early if you like. • 1:00 Pot-luck dinner • Rodney will call out the raffle ticket numbers and supervise the prizes as needed. • 1:45 (or when nearly done eating) Brief business meeting. Topics include programming for 2026. • 2:00 pm – In celebration of National Sauna Week, we will have a presentation by a visiting sauna expert and author, Garrett Conover coming in from the state of Maine. More about his presentation below. WHERE: Newfield Fire Hall, 77 Main St, Newfield, NY 14867 Health and Safety: Vaccinations encouraged; masks optional. DONATIONS: All year round, we encourage donations to The Finger Lakes Finns. In addition, to scholarships, your generous donations help us pay for events just like this. Examples: for use of the Van Etten church, Keturi’s, The Newfield Fire Hall, and to help pay musicians and other special guests.
