- **Event Name**: Audrey Paslow…From Intention to Impulsion: Repatterning the Rider’s “Go” Aids
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 13 Jun, 2026 at 09:30 am – Sun, 14 Jun, 2026 at 04:30 pm (-04:00)
- **Event Description**: What if your horse isn’t ignoring your “Go” aid…but your body is instead sending mixed signals?

This two-day clinic explores how a rider’s brain, hips, and lower legs should function to shape forward energy and responsiveness. Through targeted, Franklin Method style unmounted workshops, riders will improve mobility, coordination, and clarity through the hip, knee, and foot—the foundation of effective “Go” aids.

Day 1 begins with a 2.5 hr unmounted workshop, then applies these concepts using my Equicizer, allowing riders to refine position, movement, and balance with the ability to focus on their own body and movement.

Day 2 finishes up our unmounted work (1.5-2 hrs) then brings everything into mounted work on your own horse, translating brain-based skill-building into real, rideable change.

This clinic may be a great fit for riders who:
         • Want clearer, quieter aids
         • Are curious about neuroscience, biomechanics, and how unmounted training helps develop a better rider
         • Believe better riding starts with better awareness—not just more effort

Come ready to rethink “Go,” retrain your body, and ride with clearer communication.

I will also be available on Friday and Saturday night for a few chances to complete an unmounted rider assessment. Curious what a customized unmounted training program would look like for you? Have specific questions on what you can work on out of the tack? This might be the right opportunity for you!

Pricing: $275/day for each person with both unmounted and ridden work, which includes a set of Franklin balls or mini roller.
Auditors: $45/day (no Franklin balls included)

How To Get Here:

Chances are you should NOT follow GPS! If coming from the West there is the potential of needing to go through a small covered bridge that only small trailers will fit through. If coming from any other direction there is the potential GPS will bring you up Bruce Brook Rd. It is a very steep narrow road. You will not make it up this road with a trailer. There are other easy ways to get to the farm, just not necessarily if you follow GPS. Please check your GPS, the only Route you want to follow (once close to the barn) would be Grimes Hill to Newfane Hill to Steep Way Rd. If your GPS does not send you this way, please let me know where you are coming from, and I will send you directions! Just so you know, our address is 211 Steep Way Rd Newfane, VT 05345 (once again don’t use GPS with out the information listed above. 😉 Also please keep in mind that cell service in this area is questionable. The only service that works at the farm is AT&T. My cell is (802) 345-1633 if you need anything! Most cell phone providers work in Brattleboro and Wilmington...beyond that service is questionable.
