Join respected education consultant David Gilkes for an inspiring twilight session exploring how to shift planning practices to centre children’s thinking, theories, and research alongside our own as educators.

Together, we’ll consider what it truly means to be a storyteller and co-designer in learning. How do we listen deeply to children’s ideas? How do we build from their thinking in meaningful ways? And how do we make the most of the rich documentation we’re already collecting?

This session offers a fresh and thoughtful perspective on the planning cycle, supporting educators to create deeper, more intentional learning experiences shaped by the dynamic relationship between children’s perspectives and educator insight.
