๐ณWORKSHOP: Person-Centred Emergency Preparedness (P-CEP) + Deep Ecology
Runs from 12:00PM -1:00PM
Callen has over a decade of experience in the field of disaster risk reduction and emergency services, and has some valuable insights and resources to help you be better prepared for any emergency! This workshop will explore Person-Centred Emergency Preparedness (P-CEP), an evidence-based, co-designed framework to help people with disabilities create tailored, functional, and inclusive emergency plans. It focuses on capabilities rather than impairments, ensuring individual support needs are met through better collaboration between individuals and their support networks. This framework can be applied to any individualโs situation to self-assess their levels of risk exposure and personal preparedness through guided conversations. Callen will incorporate elements of Deep Ecology to help us ground into the present moment and into our understanding of the interdependent nature of reality".
