Household Disaster Readiness Workshop

Being prepared for an emergency can make a big difference when the unexpected happens.

Carers NSW, City of Newcastle and Lambton Residents Group invite locals to learn about becoming prepared as a household, how you can help your community be prepared and how you may be able to assist during and after a disaster.

The 1.5 hour workshop will be held at 3.30pm on Wednesday 19 November at New Lambton Community Centre, 14 Alma Rd New Lambton.


You will learn tips and tools to develop a household readiness plan for bush fires, floods and other emergencies, hear from City of Newcastle about their role in an emergency, and join in a discussion of what roles local volunteers can play to support their community in the event of a disaster or emergency.
