Did you know Slieve Lamaghan is one of the famous “Seven Sevens” of the Mourne Mountains — all peaks over 700m? At 702m, it may be the smallest, but don’t be fooled… it’s often said to be one of the most challenging 💪
Its Irish name Sliabh Lámhagáin means “mountain of crawling” — a nod to the steep sections where hands may be needed 😄
This mountain sits right in the heart of the Mournes, giving class 360° views across Ben Crom Reservoir, Slieve Binnian and even Slieve Donard on a clear day 🌄
