Verity Leadership presents the 2019 CEO Champions of Change with a great panel of local leaders who are embracing and encouraging greater diversity and inclusion.
We will be finding out from these leaders what motivates them to tackle inequity and why they personally want to see change. We will also learn what they have tried, the strategies and tactics they have employed to create change, what has worked, what hasn’t and what the key challenges have been.

Sharon Smith, CEO of HVTC. HVTC employs over 700 Apprentices and Trainees across many trades from its 10 regional offices in NSW with its Corporate office based in the Hunter. HVTC was recognised as the 2019 Hunter Diversity Award Organisational Champion.
Will Wright, General Manager of Douglas Partners. Douglas Partners are an Australian engineering consulting firm. Will who was recognised as the 2019 Hunter Diversity Award Individual Champion.
Bishop Peter Stuart, Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Newcastle incorporating the Anglican Church in the Central Coast, Hunter, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Manning, Paterson and Port Stephens regions of New South Wales. Bishop Peter has a demonstrable and deep passion for social justice issues.
And panel host Dr Kirsten Molloy, CEO of HVCCC, Chair of the Equal Futures Project and founder and director of Verity Leadership. Kirsten is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion and has a goal to see the diversity of leadership reflect the diversity of society.
