TV on the Big Screen presents Nuts in May

TV ON THE BIG SCREEN is back, and with the return of the iconic Play for Today to our television screens, it feels like the perfect moment to celebrate one of the greats on its fiftieth anniversary: NUTS IN MAY.

This classic comedy follows a nature loving and rather self righteous couple whose quest for the perfect camping holiday turns into an exhausting battle of ideals. Misunderstandings pile up, tempers fray, and chaos erupts when a less high minded visitor pitches his tent a little too close for comfort.

With a special introduction and Q&A from academics in Northumbria University’s Film and TV department.
