Stitches in Time: Costume Store Tour

👠 Step behind the scenes of the museum and join Helen, the Assistant Curator of History, on a tour of Discovery Museum’s extensive costume stores.

👗 Get up close to garments, fabric and accessories from the past 300 years, with exquisite objects from silk shoes to Victorian gowns and contemporary designer classics.

The tour lasts an hour and is largely the same selection of clothing and accessories as in previous years.

🎟️ Tickets £10. Booking essential, places are limited.

Please meet at the reception desk of Discovery Museum a few minutes before the start of the tour. The tour is on the 4th floor of the museum.

No bags are allowed into our museum stores, however storage lockers are available.
