As we walk around, we will try find bats as they hunt insects by picking up their ultrasonic calls using specialist detectors. Throughout the night, you’ll learn about the species of bats in the UK, and the ones more commonly found in Newcastle and Northumberland.Please note that you will need to wear sturdy footwear and suitable outdoor clothing. Wrap up warm as it can get chilly! We recommend bringing a torch or headtorch as it will be dark.
