As home to the most advanced offshore wind cluster in the country, the region could account for one-fifth of the UK’s offshore wind economy. Notably, 9% of the UK's offshore wind businesses are based in the North East.With a goal to expand the regional offshore wind workforce to 24,000 by 2025, the North East faces challenges related to: research, development, and deployment of innovation; skills development; supply chains; financing; and minimising environmental impact.Join us for this seminar, where experts from academia, industry, and local authorities will come together to discuss practical solutions and collaborative opportunities.
