This Halloween season, experience one of the most unsettling horror films ever made.

When a brutal act of violence leaves behind a curse fuelled by rage and sorrow, anyone who enters the house where it was born becomes its next victim. The curse spreads relentlessly from person to person, crossing lives, families and generations, with no one able to escape its grasp.

With JU-ON: THE GRUDGE, Takashi Shimizu redefined supernatural horror. Told through a fragmented, non-linear structure, the film gradually pieces together its nightmare, replacing conventional scares with mounting unease, uncanny silence and moments of pure terror. Every empty hallway, every shadowed doorway and every creaking staircase becomes a source of dread.

Introducing horror icons Kayako and Toshio, JU-ON became a worldwide phenomenon and helped launch the international explosion of J-horror that reshaped the genre throughout the 2000s.
