A Senior Faculty Representative (from Faculty of Health and Wellbeing) will present a speech by sharing how the event is important to the Faculty within the context of Research and Knowledge Exchange activities, incl. few context towards IP Commercialisation as well. IP Commercialisation team members will be sharing their knowledge and experience of 'how SHAPE commercialisation can be done and how the Knowledge Bank platform has been adopted'. 4 academic speakers (each) on both 'for-profit' and 'not-for-profit' commercialisation pathways of research outputs will be presenting their SHAPE commercialisation experiences.Project profiles [MAY BE CHANGED LATER - TBC]: 3 project ideas are almost there towards spinout formation or in the process of evaluating whether to opt for licensing or spinout formation. 1 project idea has already secured a licensing deal (though the income amount is nominal). 1 project idea has opted the route of a social enterprise while 3 project ideas have opted the route of 'free-licence' to share their research findings.This event is your opportunity to learn how to turn your SHAPE innovations into real-world impact via finding a financially sustainable venture model!
