This is a tribute night to Play Dead.

The organisers and performers hope it will be a fitting tribute to a band that was at the heart of the post punk scene in the 1980s and a chance for followers, old and new, to enjoy a night of music and nostalgia.

The night has been organised by the Facebook group “I would like to see Play Dead live again” and local promoter Strange Events. Nottingham band Chaos Bleak will cover some of Play Dead’s back catalogue live and Strange Stoke DJs will host an after party, delivering a night of alternative and post punk music from the 80s until 1.30am.

Tickets for the full night are £12 advance, money raised after direct costs will go to Cancer Research UK.
