A gansey is a junper that will become an heirloom, a lifetime partner in the cold weather, and a work of love.
theyre not for the feint hearted, its a long haul WIP, but the results are outstanding.
this group is for those who want to give it a go... its more of a cheerleading support group, offering up accountability on progress with others. once a month on the 3rd Thursday of the month 11-3.
we can study patterns, yarns and decide on if you want to knit a modern take on a gansey, or go all in for a traditional gansey.
there is no fee for gansey group, just buy a coffee in unwind.
we can knit along like the fisherman's families of old used to and support eachother.
no booking required, just grab yourself a cuppa ( cake maybe too)?! and join me in the workshop upstairs!
