St. Vincent de Paul Walk for the Poor

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Newburyport/Newbury and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Merrimac will hold the Annual Friends of the Poor Walk on Saturday, September 27, rain or shine.

This is the major fundraiser for the Societies. We need Walkers and sponsors in order to make this event a success. Please consider joining your fellow parishioners
and/or make a pledge for one of our walkers.

For IC, this weekend and next, there will be a table at the rear of the IC church where you may sign up in advance to walk or sponsor someone. Or you may simply pick up the registration and sponsor forms, bring them home to complete them and return them to the registration table with payment the day of the walk.

This is approximately a 3 mile walk that is easy enough for all ages.

We pray that all parishioners, their families and friends will join us on our Friends of the Poor Walk through the Newburyport neighborhoods and downtown to raise awareness and funds so that we may continue to serve the growing needs of our communities.
