3 session Watercolour course with karen Carter
Choice of times:
Tuesdays: 6th Jan, 3rd Feb and 3rd Mar, 1:30pm to 3:30pm
or
Wednesdays: 21st Jan, 18th Feb, 18th Mar 2026, 10am to 12pm
£68 for 3 sessions – either Tues or Wed (it is the same content, just a different time)
This workshop is suitable for adults.
Come and explore the simple delights of painting in watercolour in these fun, friendly, no-pressure classes for beginners – and anyone wanting a bit of ‘me-time’!
Learn how to mix colours, use different brushes and tools, and create quick and easy studies that can be used for cards, wall art or to keep in your sketch book.
This is a fun and playful approach where you will be able to try out all sorts of techniques and materials, and produce quirky illustrative images along the way – all under the cheerful guidance of Karen Carter.
Materials will be supplied, so just grab a cuppa, roll up your sleeves and enjoy a couple of hours each week playing with paint!
No experience needed – lots of demos and individual help – everyone welcome.
What to bring?
- Watercolours and brushes if you have them – don’t buy specially, the tutor will bring materials for everyone to use
- Kitchen roll, apron or old shirt
- Mixing palette – an old plate or ‘tear-off’ palette is fine
- HB pencil, rubber
