NYC-based Strange Majik is rock and roll to the core and the musical alter ego of David Pattillo, a continuously evolving artist who travels to city to city fusing blues, rock, and 70’s psychadelic soul into modern, unforgettable tracks. With over 100 published songs and a lengthy credit list, Pattillo has legitimate history in the music scene. He’s written and produced songs for Motown/Universal producer Linda Perry (4 Non Blondes), and has worked with or been featured with a long list of artists including Public Enemy, Sonic Youth, Beastie Boys, Jacob Dylan and The Wallflowers, Moby, Clem Burke (Blondie), Mark Bosch (Ian Hunter) and many emerging musicians of today.
With a lineup of professional jazz musicians backing up his iconic personal style, masterful guitar skills, and voice that resonates with raw emotion, Strange Majik delivers an explosive live show with a conscious vibe.
