We'll consolidate cars and look for shorebirds, waders, swallows, and more as they begin to gather in impressive numbers to discuss the traffic and plan their journeys south.Limited spots. New birders and the merely bird curious are welcome on this walk. Beginners welcome. Please don't hesitate. A few pairs of loaner binoculars are available—email us in advance.Spaces limited. Please register in advance!There is a small fee per car. Or you can purchase a Federal Duck Stamp (digital!) in advance for a full year of free admission to all national refuges. See you out there! Meet at Lot One just past the gatehouse. PS: Sometimes there are lots of mosquitoes.
