As with all OYPS events, everyone up to 10 years qualified in their field is warmly invited, and we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.Tickets are limited to 60 people, and we expect these to sell quickly, so please book as soon as possible to avoid missing out.We’ll be heading to Newbury for the Summer Evening Series Raceday – The Wild West, featuring exhilarating flat racing, western-themed food and drink, live music and an afterparty to round off the night.Gates open at 4:30pm, so you are welcome to arrive anytime from then.The first race starts at 6pm – this is when the OYPS group will meet.*Please drink responsibly*Travel from OxfordWe’ll be coordinating group travel by train from Oxford for anyone who would like to join us.A suitable service arrives at Newbury Racecourse station at around 6pm, perfectly timed for the first race (we’ll circulate exact train times closer to the date).If anyone requires a taxi from or back to Oxford, we can help arrange this — but please note that taxi costs will need to be covered by attendees. Sharing is encouraged to keep costs down. There is also plenty of parking for those who would prefer to drive.Tickets, Meeting Point and What’s IncludedTickets will be £10 per person, which have kindly been subsidised by Mills & Reeve to help support this year’s summer social.Your ticket includes:Entry to the eventWelcome drink/food voucherWe will circulate all e‑tickets closer to the event, along with details of the specific bar/meeting point on the racecourse where we will gather as a group once inside.
