The Newbury 10k returns in 2026 for the 16th time. The multi -terrain race will start and finish in a vibrant atmosphere at the centre of the idyllic market town.
There is a gentle climb for the first 3km, followed by a short descent and the rest of the course is flat. Approximately 7km of the course is on the road, with the remainder taking place on footpaths in beautiful surrounding countryside and along the tow path of the Kennet and Avon Canal, which passes directly through the town centre.
Improvements made in the last few years have removed some of the more narrow and uneven paths from the course, and the route is expected to be unchanged from 2025.
This event warmly welcomes entries from runners of all abilities, from novices to experienced athletes. All 10k competitors will be rewarded with plenty of support, water stations and a medal & t-shirt at the finish.
