480 CHILDREN’S BOOKS or BUST!
It’s the return of one of our favorite + special + magical events of the entire year… BOOKS for the ‘BURGH + FRIENDS!
When we turn the Taproom into a Children’s Book Fair, you shop for children’s books, you donate them to one of EIGHT local libraries… and we reward you with a beer, a souvenir pint glass, and raffle tickets to win prizes donated by amazing local businesses!
This year promises to be the BIGGEST and BESTEST event yet, as we have 8 libraries participating:

❤️ Washingtonville’s Moffat Library
❤️ Goshen Public Library
❤️ Cornwall Public Library
❤️ Walden’s Josephine-Louise Public Library
❤️ Montgomery Public Library
30 children’s book titles available for purchase with a goal of 2 brand new copies for each participating library. We are no mathematicians but if our calculation is correct that means the goal for 2025 is…
8 libraries x 30 Books x 2 Copies per Book = 480 BOOKS!
🧑🎨 Artist Rob Mounier will once again be joining us and painting a canvas that celebrates reading, which will then be donated to one of the libraries to proudly hang!
🎸 Devin Daversa will be providing live music while you shop
And like last year, we are making this a friendly competition between the 8 libraries! Whichever library collects 2 copies of all 30 books? We will be treating their entire staff to a night out at the brewery! So come help your local library by shopping and donating to them
📚 In addition to all the children’s titles to be purchased and donated, Golden Hour Books will also have books for sale if you wanted to do some early holiday shopping
You buy a book? We buy you a beer! For each book you purchase, you’ll receive 1 raffle ticket to enter to win fabulous prizes donated by amazing local businesses
