This exciting day camp gives youth the opportunity to experience local agriculture up close while learning directly from farmers in our community.Campers will meet at the Newberry County Extension Office by 8:00 AM and depart with Mrs. Mallory in the 4-H minivan for a fun and educational farm tour across the county.Farms we will visit include:Hi Brau Beef – Newberry, SCBlack Grove Farm (Beef) – Newberry, SCSatterwhite’s Dairy (Dairy) – Newberry, SCBowers Farm (Regenerative Livestock Farm) – Pomaria, SCYouth will learn about beef and dairy production, regenerative livestock practices, animal care, and the important role agriculture plays in our local community.We will enjoy lunch at Zaxby’s in Newberry, SC in between visiting the Newberry-area farms and traveling to Bowers Farm in Pomaria. Campers will return to the Newberry County Extension Office for pickup at 3:30 PM.?
