Making the Unseen, Seen: Craft and Conservation

This presentation introduces the Endangered Species Project, a long-term artwork exploring our relationship to the natural world. Artist Julia Galloway is creating over 1,000 hand-made ceramic urns, each depicting a species in the United States. The project invites curiosity and reflection — offering a quiet space to think about conservation and the value of making as an act of appreciation. Trained as a potter, Julia uses her skills as a master craftsman to bring attention to our changing relationship with the natural world. We hope you will join us for this presentation!
