Show synopsis:

Nunsense Jamboree (officially titled Sister Amnesia’s Country Western Nunsense Jamboree) continues the beloved Nunsense series with a hilarious country-western twist. After regaining her memory in Nunsense and landing a recording contract in Nunsense II, Sister Mary Amnesia finally realizes her lifelong dream of becoming a country singer as she headlines her own show to promote her debut album, I Could’ve Gone to Nashville.

Set in real time at the performance venue, the show features Sister Amnesia alongside familiar favorites Sister Robert Anne and Sister Mary Leo, as well as new characters including Father Virgil Trott, a Franciscan priest with a country radio show, and Sister Mary Wilhelm, the Superintendent of Nursing. Reverend Mother and Sister Mary Hubert remain back at the convent while the others take their show on the road.

Fast-paced, interactive, and outrageously funny, Nunsense Jamboree blends classic Nunsense humor with a playful country flair inspired by Hee-Haw, Laugh-In, and the Grand Ole Opry. With toe-tapping musical numbers and plenty of audience fun, this production is a joyful hoedown for longtime fans and newcomers alike.
