- **Event Description**: Building on my service to the Newark community in District 23, I’m proud to announce that I am running to represent the 8th Senate District. I look forward to advocating for the families of Newark, Hockessin, and North Star by championing the priorities that unite us all.

This work has always been about protecting our homes, our voices, and our future.

Together in District 23, we made Delaware safer and more stable. 
??We strengthened public safety protections to reduce local law enforcement partnerships with ICE, and so no one can impersonate law enforcement or carry out vigilante “citizen’s arrests.”
??We fought for housing stability so families can stay rooted in the community they call home. We ensured $400 million in taxpayer dollars stayed in the state budget to serve people,, not corporations. 
??And we’re working to modernize our elections and ensure our justice system serves people, not profit.

Being your representative has never been about holding a seat. It’s about serving with neighbors who show up, speak up, and work together. Now, I’m ready to bring that same neighbor-first leadership to the 8th District.
