Do you have a pressing question or idea related to improving your community’s sustainability and resiliency to coastal hazards?
Are you unsure who to ask for more information at the state level or where to find resources?
If the answer is yes, please join us for an informal and interactive discussion with RASCL members representing state government. The coffee hour is an opportunity for you to network, ask questions, and exchange ideas on topics like funding, writing proposals, and where to find technical resources.
What to expect:
Learn from local experts about potential impacts of present and future hazards
Discuss how different community sectors may be affected and what can be done to prepare
Share your knowledge and experiences about what has/hasn't worked for you in dealing with similar issues.
Hear about funding and technical resources available to help your community to take action
Join RASCL member representatives for an opportunity to discuss how your community is being impacted by coastal hazards, sea level rise, and/or to discuss climate change issues such as planning for high heat days and adoption of energy efficiency measures.
