Take a Pause and Practice Together

Join the Delaware Valley Zen Center for a morning of intensive Zen practice in a supportive and welcoming environment. Whether you are new to meditation or have an established practice, this half-day retreat offers an opportunity to slow down, cultivate awareness, and deepen your understanding of Zen.

The retreat will include:

Morning prostrations (bows)
Sitting meditation
Walking meditation
Chanting
Breakfast served in traditional monastery style
Dharma discussion and circle talk
Kong-an (koan) teaching interviews with Zen Master Tan Gong

This retreat is conducted in the tradition of the Kwan Um School of Zen and provides a meaningful opportunity to practice alongside the Delaware Valley Zen Center community.
