Free Pilates taster class in Newark on 9th or 14th January
We are bringing back our FREE Pilates Taster classes
Join us at Balance Studio in Newark on Wednesday 9th January, 11.30am to 12.30pm for a Healthy Backs class, or
Monday 14th January, 8pm to 9pm for a Pilates class
Whether you’re new to Pilates (perhaps a medical professional has recommended you take it up) or it’s been a while and you’re ready to return, this is a chance for you to experience Pilates taught by a clinically trained, dedicated, passionate teacher.
We specialise in offering structured, progressive, small classes that are fun. It is so important to us that you learn the basics correctly, that you are treated like an individual, that your issues are catered for, that you enjoy your class and leave us feeling so much better than when you walked in.
Our Healthy Backs 4 Life classes are Pilates-based, but are specifically designed for those clients who have chronic long-term low back pain. In these specialist classes, sufferers ease their back pain through achieving a neutral spine, strengthening the core and improving hip and thoracic mobility. If that sounds like the class you’re looking for, you can join us on our taster class on Wednesday 9th January at 11.30am for FREE.
If you'd like to try one of our regular Pilates classes to improve your strength, core and flexibility, then join us on Monday 14th January at 8pm for FREE.
Pilates is our passion – your body and mind love mindful movement so come down to our lovely Boutique Studio and do something wonderful for you.

What to wear and bring
We provide all equipment but suggest you bring a bottle of water. You should wear loose, comfortable clothing you can easily move in – most people wear tracksuit bottoms or leggings, and a T-shirt or vest. It doesn’t need to be specific workout clothing, but we recommend you avoid jeans or smart work trousers as they don’t offer enough movement. We do Pilates in bare feet or socks.
