- **Event Description**: Join in worship each Sunday at 10:30 AM either onsite in our Sanctuary at 587 Mt. Vernon Rd. or online via Facebook or YouTube Live. 

We are in the season of Lent, the 40+ days that lead us to Easter Morning.  Lent is supposed to be a time of study, discernment, prayer and more with the intention of drawing us closer to our faith. This Lent we are doing a Worship series focused on the "Habits of Holiness" and how building and encouraging those habits builds into our relationship with God and one another. 

Our sixth "Habit of Holiness" focuses on "Connection" for this Palm Sunday and is based on Matthew 21:1-11

You are invited for further Study and Faith enrichment each week at our Faith Hour Sunday School which begins at 9:15 AM.  Youth Classes meet on our Top-Floor divided by age.  There is also an Adult Class that meets in the Parlor on Sunday Mornings in an ongoing Study.  

If Sundays are not possible, most Wednesday evenings we host an ongoing and week by week Bible Study at 6:00 PM in our Fellowship Hall that you can join in on at any time. 

Some tips for participating in ONLINE Worship:

1. Know you are a vital part of worship regardless of where you are worshipping from or what day of the week you catch the service! 

2. If you have prayers you can either comment them or email them to our office at secretary@newarkcentralchristian.org. While we may not mention all of the concerns and joys received each week, our Ministers do take specific time to lift up the many prayers we receive weekly.

3. Communion--our tradition invites us to partake of Communion (Eucharist/Table/Bread & Cup) each week. We encourage you to partake along with our Ministers & Elders as they lead at the table using whatever elements for bread & cup you have at hand. ALL are invited to gather and partake of Communion.

4. Tithes & Offerings-- another part of our regular worship is giving in our Tithes & Offerings. While we know many are not always able to give financially and instead give in their time and talents your financial gifts do, when added together with others, help in our mission, ministry, and outreach in our community.
