FIND MY PATH: A Youth Professional Development Career & Education event- PM Session
Local, regional schools and commnity orgainizations in the Newark, Delaware vicinity invited, students, parents, teachers, administrators and community leaders! Target audience Middle - High School.
Wow, a great off site turn key, professional development, career and education exploratory event/workshop for students, FIND MY PATH held at Skyzone, Newark Delaware! This is event is exclusive, closed to the public. Powered and produced by award winning Higher Ed Assist, the event/worshop provides opportunity for students to interact, engage, explore and collaborate with industry professionals who represent a specific career. The mission is to educate and inspire students on a wide variety of cutting edge careers, afterwards students relax and enjoy via the use of the great SkyZone facility! Note: this workshop is by invitation only and is closed to the public.
So school administrators and community organizations treat your students to this great event! Start the week off with a bang on Monday morning and expose them to a informative learning experience followed by some fun at Skyzone Tramopline Park in Newark Delaware. 200 students maximum so book early. Note: There is a am session as well, in order to register for the am session you must use the dedicated event page. Admission for either session cannot be reserved without full registation. The minimum to register is 20 students, maximum 100. If you want to register more than 100 students no problem but a second registration is required.
Must arrive by 10:30 am for check in, career/education event starts promptly at 11:15 am. The event kicks off with two guest speakers/opening remarks, then students participate in a formal, structured workshop by attending designated "stations" that represent local and regional career industry professionals who provide a brief, intimate, interactive and collaborative presentation on a specific career or industry, showcasing offerings, leaving time for a brief Q&A before students rotate to the next station. Not required but it is encouraged that students prepare a list of questions. A list of presenters will be released two weeks prior to event. Second, upon completion of the career and education event, students are free to use the SkyZone facility for the remainder of time starting at 12:45am.
Food, snakcs beverages will be available for purchase during jump time only. The session concludes promply at 2:15pm.
Participants receive a promotion pack that includes an education and career workbook, promotional items. Discounted Flyers tickets to the Saturday January 5th 2018, 1pm game will be available for purchase for Higher Ed Assist is producing a Career & College Expo at the Wells Fargo prior to the game, all invited if interested.
