Imbolc is the cross-quarter (halfway mark from the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox) in the Celtic Wheel. Imbolc celebrates the “first spring,” Imbolc literally means in the belly or first milk. It is St Brighid’s day & Candlemas, among other worldwide festivals, celebrated at this time.
To help us celebrate we will have Mary Kay Mann a renounced musician who has won 3rd Place in Harp Slow Airs at the All-Ireland Fleadh (international) competition, 2012 3rd Place in Harp Slow Airs at the Mid-Atlantic (eastern U.S) Fleadh competition: 2012, 2015, 2016 Lilting, 2nd place 2014.
