APRI- Delaware - Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Prayer Breakfast Jan. 21, 2019
The A. Philip Randolph Institute – Delaware Chapter will be continuing the tradition of hosting the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Prayer Breakfast on January 21, 2019. The A. Philip Randolph Institute (APRI) is an organization for African-American trade unionists. APRI advocates social, labor, and economic change at the state and federal level, using legal and legislative means. APRI has 150 chapters in 36 states. We will continue the tradition of celebrating the life and works and birthday of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and also celebrate our founder A. Philip Randolph who worked with Dr. King and also was the organizer of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom on August 28, 1963.
The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. prayer breakfast will held at The Executive Banquet and Conference Center located at 205 Executive Way Newark, Delaware, 19702. Breakfast will begin promptly at 8:00 am. Doors will open at 7:00 am.
Our theme this year will be Celebrating Life with Service, and we will honor State Representative James "JJ" Johnson and Sam Lathem with the 2019 Celebrating Life with Service Award.

Tickets are $50 per person; tables of Ten (10) are discounted at $450.
