She will also highlight the importance of live coral biobanking and cryopreservation.

Dr. Muller is the Associate Vice President for Research, Program Manager for Coral Health & Disease, and Senior Scientist with Coral Health & Disease Research Program at the Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium in Sarasota, Florida.  Her research focuses on identifying corals that are resilient to major threats such as climate change and coral disease to help inform Mote’s coral restoration activities.
