These hands-on classes offer a warm, welcoming environment where participants cook together, learn practical techniques, and enjoy the dishes they prepare as a group.For this class, we’ve put together a delicious  Vamos a la Playa menu featuring recipes that are simple to prepare and perfect for sharing with friends and family.Menu• Bacalaitos – Puerto Rican Codfish Fritters• Chicharonnes de Pollo – Fried Chicken Pieces• Ensalada de Papa – Potato Salad• Pina Colada – Tropical Pineapple/Coconut Drink The class is approximately 2 hours long and includes time to sit down and enjoy the dishes prepared together.This series is presented in partnership with The Loisaida Center & Trinity Lutheran Church, with a shared mission of preserving and celebrating the culinary traditions of the Lower East Side community.
