The discussion centers on a recent national initiative to collect oral histories and an NYU Center for the Humanities–supported collaboration that uses computational tools to explore patterns across these histories. Panelists will share research methods and consider what firsthand accounts reveal about conservation training, institutional cultures, professional networks, and evolving approaches to practice.
