- **Event Description**: This event will unveil the full release of the Digitizing Vietnam platform and host a series of Vietnamese Studies workshops.About this EventPLEASE NOTE: For non-Columbia guests, registration is required to access the Morningside campus 24 hours prior to the event. After registering you will receive an email with a QR code that must be presented along with a government-issued ID (your name must match exactly the name registered for the event) at either the 116th Street & Broadway or 116th Street & Amsterdam gates. Please register using a unique email address (one email address per registrant) by 1:00 PM on Friday, April 17 for campus access.This special event will simultaneously unveil the full release of the Digitizing Vietnam multi-functional Digital Humanities (DH) Hub and AI platform, as well as hold a series of critical workshops interfacing DH and AI specialists with experts in various disciplines of Vietnamese Studies in order to gauge need, efficacy, and limits of the field. Also included are major innovators in the Digital Humanities from the China and Southeast Asia fields, both of which overlap significantly with Vietnamese Studies.
